Throughout its 19 chapters, the seventh issue of the African Journal of Environmental Law (RADE), is dedicated to the legal framework of sustainable development in Africa, a topic of paramount importance for the African continent. It volume covers multiple aspects related to legal aspects of sustainable development, such as regional and subregional approaches to sustainable development in Africa, national experiences related to the fostering of sustainable development, and thematic approaches to implementing this concept.

The aim of the seventh issue of RADE is thus to delve into the legal frameworks for sustainable development in the states under consideration.
